Nope! Our pricing includes up to two dogs in the same immediate family.

Creating a consistent routine for your dog is extremely important to us. Not only does it help us to establish that special experience for your dog that we discussed above, but just like us humans, we know how beneficial it is for your dog to see the familiar face of their best friend every day. If you have a regular recurring schedule with YPDW, then you can rest assured that Fido is creating a special bond with one of our professional walkers. If your schedule is a little bit more inconsistent, we will always do our best to keep your dog’s walker as consistent as possible. However, we have an accomplished team of walkers that we are confident could make any dogs day!

Prior to beginning services with YPDW our manager, Danielle, will come out to do a thorough Meet & Greet with you and your dog. At this time, Danielle will go over all of our procedures with you and answer any questions you have along the way. Danielle will pair your dog with one of our skilled walkers that she believes that your individual dog would do best with. This pairing is very important to her because it all comes back to creating that unequivocal experience for you and your dog. In certain cases, for instance if you have a very nervous dog, Danielle may suggest setting up another Meet & Greet with you and your assigned walker prior to beginning services so that your dog is as comfortable as possible.

In short, absolutely! Our visits can be tailored to your specific needs. Please keep in mind that what we offer your pets are experiences – Whether that is a walk, a walk and a feeding, playing fetch in the yard, belly rubs on the couch, going for a run, or any other special requests you may have. Depending on what your specific needs and requests are, we may suggest that you choose a 40 minute or longer experience as opposed to our regular 20 minute experience so we can make sure that your dog gets it all!

We do not provide overnight in-home care. Our sister company, Doggie Day Play, is a great option for when you are out of town. However, if they are all booked up or you feel that your dog would do best at home, we are more than happy to create an in-home schedule that fits your needs. We typically recommend 3-4 visits per day at varying time lengths. Please give us a call so we can tailor an in-home schedule that makes you and your dog happy!

We require two sets of keys for several reasons, but the main one being that we always want to make sure that your dog is taken care of in every circumstance. Keeping a second set of your keys at our office ensures that. Whether one of our walkers has an emergency and has to leave right away, is running late or accidentally drops your key in the snow (it’s happened!), we will always have a second key to grab right away so your dog is not left hanging. Simple as that. We keep your keys in a locked and coded storage system that ensures privacy.
